Good Morning Darlings! Do you ever find yourself over the course of a week dressing in a theme? I’m not talking about themes like Renaissance Minstrel (the peplums might be fun but the corsetry might get cumbersome) but something more along the lines of separates (where you seem to wear a sweater and skirt every day) or a color theme (I often go for jewel tones).

This week I seem to be going for black and white. Perhaps it’s because we’re seasonally standing on a precipice between extremes…summer behind us and winter ahead of us. Or it could just be I’m just itching to channel this chic color combo in lieu of making it to London Fashion Week.

(As a fun aside- right before we took these pics, Alec Baldwin walked by with his dog. Being the cool New Yorker that I am, I would never dream of asking him to take a photo with me…especially given his penchant for fighting with photographers!!!)
